MU-MIMO

The ePMP 4000 platform is the industry’s first, commercially implemented, large platform enabling simultaneous transmission of multiple data streams through multiple devices (MU-MIMO).

It uses the Qualcomm® Networking Pro Series platform with Wi-Fi 6E technology.

The solution provides scalability and interference mitigation based on a unique radio interface.

The platform uses the 802.11ax standard and provides functionalities such as TDD synchronization, SmartQoS and frame optimization.

The upcoming release of the 6 GHz band will leverage the 850 MHz spectrum of new, clean, low-noise base channels that will be ideal for the new capabilities offered in the ePMP 4600, such as orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA), MU-MIMO both in the link direction up and down and TDD synchronization.

ePMP 4500 offers the same technology in the 5 GHz frequency band.
